About Textile Zone

Hi, and welcome to Textile Zone — a space where passion for textiles meets practical learning!

My name is Ramachandran, and I’m the creator of this blog. I’ve spent the past six years immersed in the world of textiles — first through a Diploma in Textile Technology, and then by completing my B.Tech in Handloom and Textile Technology from the prestigious Indian Institute of Handloom Technology.

Throughout my academic journey, I discovered not just the beauty and science behind fabrics, fibers, and machines — but also the gap between textbooks and real understanding. That’s what inspired me to create this blog: to help bridge that gap for students, professionals, and anyone curious about textile engineering.

Whether you're preparing for competitive exams like GATE (TF), Textile Committee, or CLRI, or just want to explore the "why" and "how" of fabrics, you’ll find helpful, research-backed content here — explained in simple, engaging language.

I believe learning should feel like a conversation, not a lecture. And I’m always working to grow, improve, and share better with each post I write.

Thanks for visiting Textile Zone — I hope it supports your studies, your career, and your curiosity. Let’s grow together, one thread at a time.

Warm regards,

Ramachandran R

Founder of Textile Zone
